Learn to Surf in Australia’s only Surf Park riding perfect and safe white water waves in The Bay.
Our Learn to Surf Experiences run for 1hr & 45min and include:
- Safety and skills briefing
- 1hr of supervised surfing in The Bays
- Softboard and Rip Curl wetsuit hire
- Qualified instructors with a max 8:1 ratio
- Private Dropbox folder full of fun surf images
We offer Learn to Surf Experiences throughout the day to suit your class schedule.
Water Safety Program
Aligning with the National Swimming and Water Safety Framework, this new offering comprises of a Dry and Wet component, where students are educated on a series of important aquatic modules including:
- Rips, Tides & Currents
- Aquatic Safety Awareness
- Rescue
- Survival
- Surf Skills
This program can be run in conjunction with the Learn to Surf Lesson in the morning, or as a standalone module.
Duration: 90-120 minutes
Business of Wavepools
Diving into URBNSURF’s business model and the fundamental attributes required to build a successful business, in the exciting new industry of Wave Parks.
A 25 minute presentation in the Surf Academy, followed by a park tour and behind the scenes look at the Wave Generator.

Custom surf programs
In collaboration with your school or physical education department, URBNSURF can create custom, longer-term programs to help students rapidly progress their surfing skills and ability.
Our programs can be designed to suit your curriculum requirements, and can include water safety.
