Tullamarine 20° clear sky

From The Air

WE’RE RE-OPENING THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 19TH!

Between January and March, we were stoked to welcome thousands of guests to surf millions of perfect waves with us in Tullamarine.

In our first three months, we taught excited families and friends to learn to surf, helped dedicated Melburnian surfers catch (more than) a few closer to home, watched experienced Victorian surfers get seriously barrelled, and high-fived frothers travelling from Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth, Newcastle and all over the country to give URBNSURF a go.

We’re truly thankful for the support we’ve received from our community, and we can’t wait to re-open this Friday, June 19th to help everyone #surfmore. In the interest of guest and crew wellbeing, and to comply with the gradual easing of COVID-19 restrictions, we’ve made some temporary changes to our business operations which you can read about here.

Our new film, From The Air, was shot on a crisp Autumn morning in early March. The sun was shining, the wind blowing offshore, the water was crystal clear, and everyone was scoring. The aerial perspective gives you a sense of scale of our 2 hectare surfing lagoon, the landscaped areas around the park where you can relax between surfs and cheer on your mates, and our amenities that help complete the URBNSURF experience.

Based on the feedback we received from our members and guests, we’ve created two new surf sessions – Cruiser and Expert – which you can book now. Our new Cruiser sessions are designed for surfers who love riding a longboard, mini-mal or fish in peeling pointbreak conditions like Point Roadknight. And if you chase slabbing barrels, our Expert sessions will serve up exclusively variations of our infamous Beast mode, with limited spots in the lineup to maximise safety and wave count.

Despite a few difficult months for Australian hospitality venues, the Three Blue Ducks have made some incredible progress with their fitout, and we’re excited for them to open their first Melbourne venue at URBNSURF this Winter. We can’t wait to enjoy their delicious, honest food after a surf, with epic views of our lagoon.

See you in the lineup!

Cheers,

The URBNSURF Crew
